Last Updated: April 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Alma Art House LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information about visitors and users of our website at almaarthouse.co, including all subpages, checkout links, booking pages, lead magnet landing pages, and any associated digital properties (collectively, the "Website").

Website Forms, Lead Magnets, and Email Consent

  • Be contacted by Alma Art House LLC at the email address and/or phone number provided

By submitting a form, you also confirm you are at least 18 years of age and are the authorized owner of the email address and contact information submitted.

CAN-SPAM COMPLIANCE: Every marketing email we send includes our physical mailing address, a clear identification that it is an advertisement where applicable, and a functioning one-click unsubscribe mechanism. We honor all opt-out requests within 10 business days.

04

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, scripts, and similar tracking technologies to operate our Website, understand user behavior, and deliver targeted advertising.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These are required for the Website to function — including checkout processing, booking systems, and account access. They cannot be disabled.

Analytics and Performance Cookies

We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymized data about how visitors use our Website (pages viewed, session duration, traffic sources). This helps us improve content and user experience.

  • Opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Or enable "Do Not Track" in your browser settings (note: our Website does not respond to DNT signals at the server level, per CalOPPA disclosure)

Marketing and Remarketing Pixels

We use Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure advertising performance and show relevant ads to past visitors across other platforms.

  • Opt out of Meta interest-based ads: facebook.com/help/568137493302217
  • Opt out of Google Display ads: google.com/settings/ads
  • Opt out via NAI platform: networkadvertising.org/choices
  • Opt out via DAA platform: optout.aboutads.info

Functional Cookies

These remember your preferences (language, login state, form data) to improve your experience across sessions.

Session vs. Persistent Cookies

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling certain cookies may limit Website functionality.

Do Not Track

California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) requires us to disclose our Do Not Track policy. Our Website does not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. Third-party services integrated into our Website (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) may or may not respond to DNT signals per their own policies.

05

Payment Processors and Financial Data

Alma Art House LLC accepts payments through multiple platforms. We do not store full credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or financial credentials on our servers. All payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party processors:

  • Square — squareup.com/legal/privacy
  • Stripe — stripe.com/privacy
  • Kajabi — kajabi.com/policies/privacy
  • HoneyBook — honeybook.com/privacy
  • COHART — cohart.com (fine art transactions)
  • Venmo — venmo.com/legal/us-privacy-policy
  • Zelle — zellepay.com/privacy-policy

For Venmo and Zelle transactions, which are peer-to-peer transfers, only confirmation of receipt is retained by us. These platforms have their own privacy and security frameworks independent of our control.

06

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers acting on our behalf — payment processors, email marketing platforms, booking tools, analytics providers — who are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to perform services for us
  • With COHART for fine art listing, sale, and transaction fulfillment
  • With AI tools and platforms used in our business operations — see Section 10 for full disclosure
  • With legal authorities if required by law, court order, subpoena, or government request
  • In connection with a business transfer, merger, or acquisition — you will be notified in advance and your rights under this Policy will be honored
  • With your explicit written consent for any purpose not listed here

When we share data with service providers, we enter into data processing agreements requiring them to protect your information and prohibiting use for their own marketing purposes.

07

Email Marketing and Communications

We use Square, HoneyBook, and Kajabi to send email communications including service confirmations, course access, newsletters, promotions, and educational content.

Your rights regarding email communications:

  • You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email
  • You may contact us at [email protected] to request removal from our list
  • Transactional emails (receipts, booking confirmations, course access) are not subject to unsubscribe as they are operationally necessary
  • We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days in compliance with CAN-SPAM

We do not send unsolicited bulk email. All marketing emails are sent only to individuals who have opted in through a Website form, booking process, or program enrollment.

08

User-Generated Content and Student Submissions

If you submit photographs, videos, written content, artwork samples, or testimonials to us through any channel (email, Kajabi community, direct message, application forms, or otherwise), you grant Alma Art House LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes, subject to the Student Media and Likeness Consent provisions in our Terms and Conditions.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to any content you submit, and that its use by us does not infringe any third-party rights. We will not use submitted content in a way that is defamatory, deceptive, or violates your reasonable privacy expectations.

09

Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Client intake and paramedical service records: up to 7 years per California business record requirements
  • Education program records: duration of program access plus 3 years
  • Transaction and payment records: 7 years for tax and accounting compliance
  • Email marketing records: retained while you remain subscribed; deleted within 30 days of verified unsubscribe request
  • Website analytics data: aggregated and anonymized after 26 months per Google Analytics default retention
  • Application materials for programs not enrolled in: 12 months, then deleted

Upon your verified written request, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements and active transaction exceptions.

10

  • AI tools for business planning, document drafting, and operational workflows

We do not use AI to make automated decisions about you that have legal or significant personal effects without human review. We do not feed identifiable client health information or private communications into public AI systems.

AI-generated content on this Website has been reviewed and approved by a human before publication. We take responsibility for all content published under the Alma Art House LLC brand, regardless of the tools used to create it.

Third-party AI platforms we use operate under their own privacy and data policies. We configure these tools to minimize data sharing where possible and do not intentionally input your personal information into AI systems without your awareness.

Right to Correct

You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.

Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing

Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

Our Website contains links to and embeds from third-party platforms including COHART, Kajabi checkout pages, Instagram, YouTube, and payment processors.
